Prepare a 45-50 second song of your choice that showcases your range, preferably in the style of the show.

Songs to sing can be selected by part or for general audition roles according to the chart below. For actor selected songs, songs should be 45-60 seconds in length and sung in a style similar to the show, if not auditioning for a specific role. Actors will need to provide their own karaoke style musical tracks (music only/no words). No accompanists are allowed, you must bring your track to plug in to a speaker. Actors will be asked to read portions from the script which will be provided. Focus of auditions should be on vocal range, style, and character. Note: Our vision of singing in the show is different than you may have heard on the Broadway cast recording. Actors should come prepared to show characterization in singing and when reading.

If you are unsure of your vocal range, we will have you sing a simple scale for us to determine range. When roles are announced, actors will already be assigned parts for music. (SSATBB)
